Library Information
The UMUC Asia Library provides access to a variety of information resources to assist students and faculty. The UMUC Information and Library Services Web site is the main point of access to these resources which include subscription databases via the MDUSA system, electronic books, resource guides, and tutorials which were created specifically to support UMUC students and faculty. Journal articles, newspaper stories, and statistical resources to support UMUC courses are just a few of the resources available.
Book Resources: Installation Libraries
Over 2000 electronic books are available through the Information and Library Services Web site. However, the installation library is the main source of books resources for UMUC Asia students. Please contact your local library for more information.
Faculty Resources
The UMUC Asia Library maintains a small faculty loan library at Yokota which is searchable through the link below. Video and book titles are included. UMUC Asia faculty may also borrow books from the University System of Maryland (USM) libraries by e-mailing library@ad.umuc.edu. The link to that searchable is available below as well.
