Week 2  April 14 - April 20          Due Date is April 20.

The first week was a success!  Most of you did just fine with Equation Editor and most of you were done with the week's assignments before the due date.

This is going to be a very busy week.  Trig is one of the few classes in our curriculum that does not have an extended review at the beginning of the course.  We are going to jump right in!  Please discipline yourself to spend at least one hour a day on this material.  If you get behind, it will be difficult to get caught up.

 Here is a summary of this week's assignments:

• Read the assigned sections in the text and then read the supplementary notes in the Content section. 
• Review examples in the conference, learn how to use your calculator, and then do the assigned homework problems.
• Complete the main topics in Conference 1.
• Do your quiz.

This week you will do your first quiz - it will be a group quiz.  Please read the instructions thoroughly.  Plan ahead so that you will not have any difficulty making the deadlines.  You will post your quiz two times, once on Thursday and once on Sunday.  After I grade the quizzes, I will post the solutions.  I cannot accept any quizzes after the solutions have been posted - so don't be late!

I will do my best to post a participation table and the quiz grades by Tuesday.  I will try to update it every Monday or Tuesday.  If your participation is not recorded on the table, check the date and time, sometimes postings take a while to get to all the servers.  Which leads me to my next comment...
